Networking that’s not purely business
Supporting social responsibility in more ways than one
Events to support the Penrith community.
Events to raise money for charity.
And events to let your hair down.
Because people do business with people.
People they trust.
People they respect.
People they have confidence in.
And, most importantly, people they like.
So we’re all about mixing it up with events that are both formal and informal, designed for function as well as fun, and that support the Penrith community and local charities.
Best of all, our dress codes embrace everything from steel caps to suits – always.
Tuesday mornings, 7.30 – 8.30am
Weekly Networking Meetings
What: Unstuffy networking
When: Every Tuesday morning
Where: The Australian Arms Hotel, 351 High St, Penrith
Why: Coffee, comradery, and connections
Who: NBN members. Keen to join us? Let’s talk!
‘I love networking’, said no-one ever
Who wants to start their day with a room of strangers making uncomfortable small talk? Not us!
Which is precisely why you’ll wish you’d joined earlier.
Nepean Business Network meetings aren’t stuffy and formal. We have a loose agenda, but we’re also known to throw it away and just freestyle it. And we’re the ultimate mix of professionals and tradies (case in point – our current President has a (damn good) mullet).
It’s genuinely good people who run genuinely good businesses – and who you’ll genuinely want to get to know.

Casino Night Fundraiser
What: Casino Night Fundraiser
When: Saturday 14th of June 2025 – 6:30pm – 11:30pm
Where: St Marys Band Club, 411 Great Western Highway, St Marys
Why: To raise much-needed funds for The Haven – Nepean Women’s Shelter
Who: Everyone!
Join Us for a Night of Glamour and Giving!
Nepean Business Network proudly presents Casino Night — an unforgettable evening of fun, entertainment, and community spirit, all in support of The Haven – Nepean Women’s Shelter.
This event is more than just a night of games and prizes — it’s a powerful opportunity to take a stand against domestic violence. While guests enjoy classic casino tables, vibrant music, delicious food, and incredible prizes, they’ll also be contributing to real and lasting change.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, last year’s event raised $57,631, helping The Haven continue its vital work supporting women and children escaping domestic and family violence. These funds go directly toward keeping shelter doors open, as well as supporting critical child-focused programs that include psychological, occupational, speech, and music therapies. These services help children process trauma and begin their healing journey toward a safer, more stable life.
We acknowledge the complex issues surrounding domestic violence including gendered drivers, alcohol, and gambling. While Casino Night embraces games of chance in the spirit of fundraising and fun, we do so thoughtfully and with purpose: to challenge and dismantle the systemic barriers women and children in our community face.
Your support helps build a future free from violence. So bring your lucky shoes — there are plenty of prizes to be won, and even more lives to be changed.

From Christmas food donations to Panthers games, pub dinners and more
Social and community events
Christmas? Of course we have a Christmas party (not to mention a visit from (Secret) Santa). Individually, we also bring in non-perishable items and donate them as a collective to Penrith Community Kitchen, helping those who aren’t as fortunate.
But it’s the informal stuff that lets you know the friendships are genuine. Individual members have been known to meet up at the local for everything from a few drinks to an all-nighter, grab a bite (or three) for dinner, walk the river, and attend events ranging from footy games to comedy shows and live bands.
No hard and fast rules – just doing what we can, when we can, with people we like.
